4,000 already registered for OPEN DAYS

Some 4,000 participants have already registered for events during the OPEN DAYS European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels (6-9 October). Participation is free, with 143 specialist seminars to choose from. More than 5,000 participants are expected to have signed up by the end of this month. The OPEN DAYS website includes details of all the seminars, speakers, dates and venues, as well as a step-by-step guide on how to register.
French Prime Minister Fran篩s Fillon will address the opening session at the Charlemagne Building on 6 October (16:00-18:00), alongside CoR President Luc Van den Brande and Regional Policy Commissioner Danuta H? Other keynote speakers invited to the OPEN DAYS include European Commission President Jos頍anuel Barroso, European Parliament President Hans-Gert P?ring, French Secretary of State for European Affairs Jean-Pierre Jouyet, European Commission Vice-President Gunter Verheugen, and the President of the European Parliament Regional Development Committee, Gerardo Quecedo Galeote.
