Croatia: an ideal "environment" for co-operation among bodies and public and private Companies

Seminar "Croatia: an ideal "environment" for
co-operation among bodies and public and private Companies: Development projects
and Financing from European
institutions" will take place in Mogliano Veneto, Italy, on 10th July 2008 in the
morning and it will focus on the promotion of
Croatia as a Country offering interesting opportunities for international co-operation among SMEs,
with specific reference to joint initiatives within EU and International
Financial Institutions funding opportunities.The event is
organised by EU Program Association for support to Small and Medium Enterprises
Development on the European Single Market,
with the patronage of Apindustria Venezia http://www.apindustriavenezia.it (Association of Small and Medium Enterprises -
VE ) and the co-operation of our
consultancy, Consulmarc Sviluppo (www.consulmarc.it). As anticipated, this
will only be the first event, as a most important starting point,of a series of
thematic seminars, aiming at promoting co-operation between Croatian
and Italian subjects : that is the reason
why a representative of the
Croatian Regions office was invited to take the speech during the event.Croatian Regions Office kindly accepted this opportunity. A representative of AZRA will give a presentation entitled “Croatia: Economic Climate and
Opportunities”.
The
presentation will highlight the current economic situation and trends, while
also outlining the various opportunities for investors throughout
Croatia. Some of the main features
of the presentation include the success stories of foreign investors, economic
indicators, advantages of investing in Croatia, tax policy, transportation
infrastructure, and how regional development agencies have assisted business and
government in improving Croatian economy.
The main themes of the seminars will be:
- The
general economic situation in Croatia and the promotion of the
country as a suitable environment for economic
co-operation
- The funding opportunities linked to EU programmes and
International Financial Institutions instruments
- Croatian Regional Policy and the opportunities for
international partnership
Finally,
participants to the meeting will have the possibility to exchange views,
experiences and expressions of interest concerning specific areas and
themes.
