Croatia - next EU member - economic potential of Croatian regions

On 9th of June the conference Croatia- Next EU Member- Economic Potential of Croatian Regions will take place in the European Parliament.
This conference is organized by the Croatian Business Network, under the patronage of Mr. Hannes Swoboda, Vice- Chairman of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats and Rapporteur for Croatia in the European Parliament, in cooperation with the Mission of Croatia to the European Union.
Established in 2007, the Croatian Business Network (CBN) gathers most Croatian institutions and offices in Brussels. Its ambition is to facilitate the visibility of Croatian business entities, to promote exchange of good practices and to strengthen coordination of activities, with a view to offering better opportunities to business partners.
The conference will be composed of four parts that will discuss issues of high relevance for the country of Croatia on its path to the European Union.
Among them the following:
- Tourism and Transport Sector in Croatia
- Entrepreneurial Education
- Renewable Energy and Energy efficiency
- Business - Science cooperation as a driving force for Economic development
The panels will be chaired by the members of European Parliament respecting the presence of the main political groups.
The prominent representatives of different Croatian companies and organizations will give their representations followed by the speeches of representatives of four European regions (South Transdanubian, Generalitat Valenciana, Steiermark Region, Friuli Venezia Gulia).
The conference will be followed by a reception.
